My Favorite Thing About NCK Tech
My favorite thing about NCK Tech is that it’s one campus-wide family. The teachers take you under their wing and make sure you succeed.
What advice would you give an incoming non-traditional student?
DO IT! NCK Tech welcomed me, a 22 year old single mother with open arms. NCK Tech took my life from “just trying to get by” to “single mom and killing it.” I’ve started a career I love because NCK Tech gave me the education to do so!

My favorite thing about NCK Tech is how hands on it is. I feel like by attending NCK Tech, I was given a lot more opportunities to advance my career.
What advice would you give an incoming non-traditional student?
I think it’s important for other non-traditional students to get involved in all that you can. With NCK Tech being a small college you have a greater opportunity to be involved in activities such as Student Senate.

The small student/faculty ratio. The instructors are there for the purpose of helping students be successful.
What advice would you give an incoming non-traditional student?
Do not worry about comparisons to your peers and focus on what you’re studying. Don’t let anything or anyone convince you that you can’t do it.
