This course introduces the learner to the role of the Associate Degree nurse in an evolving health care delivery system. Concepts concerning principles of leadership and management, contemporary information technologies, evolving trends and issues, interdisciplinary teams, accountability, alternative therapies, and the need for life-long learning will be explored.
