Orient students on advanced cutting methods used in the welding industry and include carbon arc cutting/gouging, plasma, and mechanical methods. Students will be cutting various materials including carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead). Classroom instruction includes welding safety, gas selection/pressures, current/polarities, and techniques.
