North Central Kansas Technical College announces another year of increased enrollment. The Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) reported 20th day enrollment numbers this week showing a 12.8% headcount increase at NCK Tech.

According to the KBOR press release, both state universities and community colleges experienced a decline in enrollment this year, while the technical colleges saw an increase of 6%.

“It’s exciting to be part of one of the few Kansas institutions with an increase in enrollment. NCK Tech proves to have excellent academic programs and the hands-on education that students are looking for,” said Tricia Cline, Dean of Enrollment Management. “I believe students are starting to realize that by attending NCK Tech, they can enter the workforce quickly and have a very successful career that will make a difference within their community.”

NCK Tech provides hands-on education enabling students to graduate in 4–18 months into high-wage, high-demand fields while acquiring very little debt relative to other options. By offering highly sought-after careers, NCK Tech can confidently offer a Job Placement Guarantee upon successful completion of any of our programs.

“I’m so pleased that more students and their families are recognizing the great return on investment at NCK Tech, and the amazing opportunities that exist for those who earn a technical degree or certificate,” said NCK Tech’s President, Eric Burks. “I am encouraged to see growth in both the number of post-secondary and secondary students we are serving. This increase is the result of the efforts of our tremendous faculty delivering quality programs and our dedicated staff helping prospective students gain access to those programs.”
