North Central Kansas Technical College was ranked second among 2-year colleges with the highest 3-year graduation rates, by The Chronicle of Higher Education. With a 73.9% completion rate and a score of 136 out of completers within 150 percent of expected time, NCK Tech joins 3 other schools located in Kansas. NCK Tech has a strong reputation for helping students succeed and reach their goals. This is the fourth time in the last five years the college has been ranked in the top 7 nationally in graduation rates. Previous to this year’s second place ranking, NCK Tech has been ranked 7th (2016), 3rd (2017), and 5th (2018) for graduation rates amongst 2-year colleges in the nation.
NCK Tech not only graduates students, but the college also ensures students are ready for work. Furthermore, NCK Tech is nationally ranked for job placement, ranking as high as 1st in the nation in 2018. “This recognition is a wonderful tribute to the hard work our students invest and the high quality of employees we have at NCK Tech.
