For the 10th straight year NCK Tech Automotive program and RPM Speedway have joined forces to give away bicycles at the RPM racetrack. This year’s event will be held June 13th and 14th at RPM Speedway.
Normally, the Automotive students put together the bicycles, but due to COVID-19 and the students off campus, Richard Cox, Automotive Dept. Chair called on NCK Tech alumni to help put together the eighty bicycles. Cox, along with retired instructor Mark Rathbun and several alumni gathered to complete the project.
Angie Habiger, who runs the concessions and operations at RPM Speedway oversees the bicycle giveaway. The goal is one hundred bicycles, and anyone can donate money or a new bike to the cause. Hopefully, the goal will be met next year.
If interested in this project, contact Richard Cox at NCK Tech, rcox@ncktc.edu or Angie Habiger at RPM Speedway.
