North Central Kansas Technical College (NCK Tech) announces its five-year strategic plan, ASPIRE 2022. The framework evolved from conversations involving multiple stakeholders, including the NCK Tech Board of Trustees, Foundation Board, administration, directors, faculty, staff, students, advisory members, community and business leaders, and by considering the institution’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

The Strategic Planning Committee combined this input to create a meaningful, measurable, and manageable plan. The goals and objectives are intended to support the strategic priorities of the Higher Learning Commission, the Kansas Board of Regents, the Technical Education Authority, and to support the employee-driven mission, vision, and values of NCK Tech.

ASPIRE 2022 was approved by the NCK Tech Board of Trustees in November of 2016 and launched in January of 2017. This plan establishes strategic direction and will serve as a guide for the institution over the next five years. This plan will be monitored by the NCK Tech Board of Trustees, administration, and the Strategic Planning Committee. All members of the NCK Tech community will be “working together for a better future” by participating in support activities to realize the priorities, goals, and objectives in the plan.
