Once you have received your acceptance email, you have a few more steps to complete to join the NCK Tech Family! The following checklist will make sure you have everything ready to go before August classes begin.
Set Up TechKNOW and NCK Tech Email
Verify that you can login to your TechKNOW and NCK Tech email. When you were accepted to the college, you would have received a separate email with your login and password information for these accounts. This specific email would have been sent to the email account you put on your application for admission (you might check your spam, just in case!). If you have any questions or don’t know your information, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@ncktc.edu.
Apply for Financial Aid
Complete and submit your Federal Application for Financial Student Aid (FAFSA) on or after October 1st. You can get information and start the process on our Financial Aid website. The earlier you complete the application and all the documentation, the more assurance you have that the money will be ready for you to pay your bill in the summer.
Apply for Scholarships
NCK Tech has many scholarships available to help students afford tuition. Apply for NCK Tech Scholarships today! Priority Deadline is January 15, 2023 and Final Deadline is March 1, 2023.
Visit Campus
If you have not had time to visit campus yet, or you would like to visit again and spend more time in your area of interest, schedule a day that works for you. We love having students spend the day with us!
Complete your Housing Contract
Beloit Students – Apply after February 15th to live in the on campus apartments. The application for housing can be found on the student’s TechKNOW account. If you have any questions, please contact Shane Britt at sbritt@ncktc.edu.
Hays Students – Students wanting to live in the FHSU Residence Halls can start the process by requesting paperwork from Daniel Hill at dhill@ncktc.edu.

Most programs at NCK Tech require students to purchase their tools before the start of the fall semester. Check out the list of tools and vendors.
Send Your Final High School Transcript
Have your final high school transcript sent to NCK Tech at Registrar’s Office, 3033 US Hwy 224, Beloit, KS 67420. High School Transcript Request Form
Sign Up for Registration Day
All new, program students are required to attend a Registration Day. These days begin in April and will be the time to meet your advisor, choose your class schedule, and get all of your questions answered before the fall semester. Spaces are limited, so sign up soon!
Buy your Books
Buy or rent your books from our online bookstore. If you are using excess financial aid to purchase books, the online bookstore will have your financial aid voucher available on August 1, 2022.
Pay for Classes
Students can review their bill in their TechKnow account after registering for classes. This can be paid after July 1st online.
